I&C QA/QC Inspector

Job Purpose

To support plant reliability by performing QA/QC inspections and executing Instrumentation & Control (I&C) maintenance activities, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• QA/QC & Inspections
• Conduct routine inspections of static equipment and monitor maintenance quality.
• Maintain inspection reports, equipment history, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and IMS (QMS, EMS, OHSAS).
• Assist in condition monitoring activities (vibration, temperature, performance tracking).
• Support review of contractor activities to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
• Instrumentation & Control
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance of I&C systems.
• Assist in troubleshooting instrumentation issues to ensure smooth plant operations.
• Perform testing and validation of equipment after maintenance.
• Support maintenance planning and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Coordination & Reporting
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and QA teams for task execution.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.
• Support spare parts tracking and basic inventory coordination.
• Health, Safety & Compliance
• Follow all HSE policies and ensure safe working practices.
• Ensure adherence to organizational procedures and quality standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in QA/QC, maintenance, or I&C within power plant/utilities/industrial environment.
