Amazon Web Services (AWS), a global leader in cloud computing and data center infrastructure, is seeking highly motivated Data Center Technician Interns to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. Target Candidate Profiles

AWS is actively recruiting for two distinct candidate profiles:

• Recent 2025 Graduates: Ideal candidates who have recently completed (or will complete by early 2025) their degree in Information Technology, Computer Hardware Repair, or a closely related technical field. Successful interns may transition directly into a full-time position upon program completion.
• Final-Year Students (Graduating 2026): Enthusiastic students currently in their final year of studies in Information Technology, Computer Hardware Repair, or a relevant technical discipline. Upon successful internship completion, candidates may commence full-time employment by the end of 2026, aligned with their graduation timeline.

Program Structure & Schedule

The internship is a full-time, 12-week commitment (40 hours per week) with flexible start dates ranging from April to October 2026. Interns will be based in AWS data centers located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and are required to attend onsite work daily. Intern schedules follow a standard Sunday–Thursday workweek (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM). Upon transitioning to a full-time role, employees should be prepared to adapt to rotating shift schedules, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays, as well as potential on-call rotations.

Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities

As a Data Center Technician Intern, you will play a pivotal role in supporting AWS’s internal workforce by providing critical infrastructure-related assistance. Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of technical tasks, including:

• Diagnosing and resolving hardware-related tickets, such as issues with motherboards, RAM, CPUs, GPUs, and storage drives (SSDs/HDDs).
• Addressing networking challenges, including link down scenarios, optics replacements, and switch replacements.
• Collaborating with AWS technicians to troubleshoot network issues and validate solutions.
• Performing server hardware repairs under the supervision of experienced technicians, including drive replacements and motherboard repairs.
• Assisting in the installation of new equipment and contributing to the creation of technical documentation.
• Engaging with third-party vendors and contractors to facilitate seamless onsite operations.
• Developing innovative solutions to complex data center challenges while adhering to strict service level agreements (SLAs).
