Join BENTELER Automotive in Establishing a New Tier 1 Automotive Component Manufacturing Facility in KAEC

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Controller to set up and lead the controlling function for our new, German-owned automotive plant in Saudi Arabia. This is an exciting opportunity to drive financial transparency, ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, and manage costs effectively to support the plant's ramp-up and sustainable operation.

• Establish and lead the controlling function for the greenfield automotive plant.
• Maintain cost controlling systems, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Support plant management with accurate financial analysis, KPIs, and business cases to drive decision-making.
• Monitor and analyze production costs, material usage, and overhead to identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate closely with finance, HR, procurement, and operations for proper cost allocation and reporting.
• Prepare regular management reports for local leadership and HQ, highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to the plant’s strategic planning and support investment controlling for new equipment and expansions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or related field; Master’s degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in controlling/finance within the automotive or manufacturing industry, with a strong advantage for experience in greenfield or start-up environments.
• Solid knowledge of Saudi financial regulations, taxation, and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, hands-on mentality, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and advanced Excel skills.
• Fluent in English AND Arabic
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
