Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Financial Investment Senior Analyst to join our dynamic investment team. In this pivotal role, you will play a critical part in the development, management, and optimization of a global multi-asset portfolio of endowment (Awqaf) assets spanning both public and private markets. Reporting to senior investment professionals, you will provide comprehensive analytical and execution support, contributing to the strategic growth and performance of our investment programs. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting in-depth market research, performing financial modeling, supporting due diligence processes, and delivering insightful performance reporting—all while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to drive informed investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities

The Financial Investment Senior Analyst will be entrusted with a diverse range of responsibilities, including:

• Investment Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough investment and market research to inform portfolio construction and support the development of robust investment theses across public equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.
• Opportunity Sourcing and Due Diligence: Assist senior investment team members in identifying, evaluating, and executing new investment opportunities across various asset classes and categories, including primary funds, co-investments, IPOs, and direct equity holdings.
• Financial Modeling and Valuation: Develop sophisticated financial models and perform detailed valuation analyses to underpin investment decisions, ensuring accurate assessment of potential risks and returns for new and existing investments.
• Portfolio Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor the performance of existing investments, prepare comprehensive performance reports, and conduct portfolio risk analyses to provide actionable insights for portfolio optimization and risk mitigation.
• Stakeholder Communication: Support the preparation of presentations, memoranda, and ad hoc reports for senior management and investment committees, facilitating transparent and data-driven decision-making processes.
• Process Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance systems, processes, and best practices across the department and the broader organization, driving operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ad Hoc Support: Provide flexible and responsive support to senior investment team members, addressing urgent business-related tasks and contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Professional Experience: 0 to 4 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, financial modeling, or a closely related discipline within the finance or investment sector.
• Professional Certifications: A Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with a proven ability to build complex financial models, perform data analysis, and create compelling presentations.
• Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical abilities, coupled with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines.
