Role Overview

The People & Culture Executive will play a pivotal role in shaping Faena’s workforce by overseeing end-to-end recruitment processes, ensuring seamless employee lifecycle management, and fostering a thriving workplace culture. This position requires a meticulous professional with a deep understanding of Saudi Labour Law and government compliance, capable of balancing operational excellence with a people-centric approach. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, driving engagement, compliance, and operational efficiency while upholding Faena’s brand standards and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from job posting and candidate screening to interview coordination and offer management, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience that aligns with Faena’s culture.
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee employee onboarding and offboarding processes, maintaining accurate and compliant HR records, contracts, and documentation in adherence to Saudi Labour Law.
  • Government Compliance: Coordinate with government portals such as Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, and HRDF to ensure timely registrations, updates, and compliance. Track Saudization (Nitaqat) metrics and ensure all data is accurately reflected in government systems.
  • HR Administration: Assist in drafting employment contracts, addenda, and HR correspondence, while managing training schedules, attendance tracking, and record-keeping for all team members.
  • Employee Engagement & Wellbeing: Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee inquiries, escalating complex matters as needed. Organize and execute employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, wellness activities, and internal events, including National Day celebrations and cultural programs.
  • Data & Reporting: Administer employee satisfaction surveys, analyze feedback, and present insights to the People & Culture leadership team. Prepare HR reports and dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
  • Government Liaison: Collaborate with the Government Relations Officer (GRO) to streamline visa, work permit, and employee registration processes, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Operational Excellence: Handle day-to-day HR tasks, including correspondence, scheduling, filing, and administrative support, while ensuring all practices align with Faena’s brand standards and Ennismore policies.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, coupled with a minimum of 2–3 years of HR or People & Culture experience, preferably within the luxury hospitality sector.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Saudi Labour Law and proficiency in government HR portals, including Qiwa, Muqeem, GOSI, and HRDF.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Arabic and English, both written and spoken, is essential.
  • Core Competencies:
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong people-first mindset.
    • Meticulous attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
    • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information.
    • Proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to drive initiatives independently.
    • Deep understanding of Saudization requirements and government compliance frameworks.
