Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Gulf States Content Specialist to join our team. Whether based full-time in our Paris office or remotely from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, or Oman, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Bump’s presence in the region by infusing local internet culture into our global strategy.

Your Mission

As the Gulf States Content Specialist, you will be the driving force behind Bump’s content and creator ecosystem in the region. You will craft compelling short-form videos, lead creator collaborations, and experiment with innovative ideas to ensure Bump remains a must-have app. This role is perfect for someone who is deeply immersed in Gulf memes, humor, and online trends, and who is eager to bring this cultural fluency to our Paris-based team. Key Responsibilities

• Own the Gulf Market: Take full ownership of Bump’s growth and content strategy in the Gulf states, ensuring the app resonates with local audiences.
• Content Creation & Strategy: Develop high-performing TikToks, Reels, and UGC-style advertisements tailored to Gulf audiences, ensuring content aligns with local trends and cultural nuances.
• Creator Management: Build and nurture a pipeline of Gulf-based creators, from top influencers to micro-influencers, and provide actionable feedback to elevate their content.
• Influencer Campaigns: Lead end-to-end influencer campaigns, collaborating with creators to amplify Bump’s reach and engagement in the region.
• Trendspotting & Innovation: Stay ahead of the curve by identifying emerging trends on TikTok and Instagram, and quickly adapting them into Bump’s content strategy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with paid marketing teams to optimize content performance, and partner with product and growth teams to refine Bump’s features and messaging.
• Creative Direction: Contribute to brainstorming sessions, test experimental ideas, and help shape the creative direction of Bump’s Gulf-focused campaigns.
• Event & Launch Support: Assist in organizing launches, events, and activations tailored to the Gulf market, ensuring maximum impact and engagement.

Your Ideal Profile

We are looking for a candidate who embodies the following qualities:

• Creative & Analytical: A natural storyteller with a keen eye for what makes content go viral, backed by data-driven decision-making.
• Cultural Fluency: Deeply familiar with Gulf memes, humor, and online culture, with the ability to translate this into engaging content.
• Language Proficiency: Fluent in both Arabic and English, with firsthand experience living in a Gulf state.
• Collaborative & Adaptable: Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, whether in-person in Paris or remotely from the Gulf, and eager to contribute to a high-energy team.
• Experimental & Detail-Oriented: Passionate about testing new ideas, iterating quickly, and refining content to achieve optimal performance.

Requirements

• 1–5+ years of experience in short-form content creation, whether in branding, agency work, influencer marketing, or as a creator.
• Proven track record in producing UGC-style advertisements and high-performing short-form videos.
• Experience managing creators or providing creative feedback to enhance content quality.
• Strong understanding of TikTok and Instagram trends, particularly within the Gulf creator landscape.
• Proficiency in Arabic and English, with prior residency in a Gulf state.
• Willingness to work in-person in Paris or remotely from Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, or Oman.
