Your Role as a Product Specialist

As a Product Specialist for BD’s Specimen Management portfolio in Riyadh and the Central region, you will be at the forefront of driving sales growth while providing expert clinical support to healthcare professionals. This role is instrumental in fostering strong customer relationships, ensuring seamless product adoption, and contributing to improved patient outcomes. Your expertise will be vital in navigating the dynamic Saudi healthcare market, where precision and reliability in specimen management are paramount.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Growth and Market Expansion: Achieve and exceed sales targets by developing and executing strategic plans to expand market share and identify new business opportunities within your assigned territory.
• Clinical Support and Training: Deliver compelling product demonstrations, presentations, and clinical training sessions to healthcare professionals, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge to utilize BD’s Specimen Management solutions effectively.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), procurement teams, and clinicians to drive product adoption and address their evolving needs.
• Market Insights and Collaboration: Monitor industry trends and customer requirements, providing actionable insights to internal teams to refine strategies and enhance product offerings. Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, technical support, and customer service to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Representation and Advocacy: Represent BD at industry conferences, workshops, and events, positioning the company as a trusted partner in specimen management solutions.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards while maintaining accurate sales forecasts, reports, and administrative documentation to support business operations.

Your Ideal Profile

To thrive in this role, you will bring a blend of scientific acumen, clinical insight, and commercial expertise. We are seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or medical field, such as Biomedical Engineering, Nursing, or Pharmacy.
• Prior experience in nursing or a laboratory setting is highly advantageous, as it provides firsthand insight into the challenges and requirements of specimen management.
• 3–5 years of experience in medical device sales, with a preference for candidates who have worked in clinical environments.
• A deep understanding of the Saudi healthcare market, including regulatory frameworks and customer needs.
• A proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in competitive markets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
