About the Role
Alesayi Motors is seeking a dynamic and strategic Fleet Operations Manager to spearhead the expansion and optimization of our B2B and Fleet After-Sales division. This pivotal role demands a results-oriented leader capable of driving service growth, cultivating long-term fleet customer relationships, and ensuring operational excellence in fleet maintenance and repair services. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the future of our fleet business by developing innovative service contracts, identifying new market opportunities, and maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
The Fleet Operations Manager will oversee a broad spectrum of responsibilities to enhance service efficiency, customer satisfaction, and business profitability. Core duties include:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the Fleet Service Operations team to drive sustainable growth and operational excellence in the automotive after-sales sector.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with fleet customers, corporate accounts, and key stakeholders to foster loyalty and retention.
- Contract Development & Negotiation: Design, develop, and negotiate comprehensive fleet service agreements and maintenance contracts tailored to meet client needs while ensuring profitability.
- Business Development: Identify emerging business opportunities within the fleet and B2B markets, generate high-quality leads, and contribute to revenue growth strategies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, After-Sales, Finance, IT, and Customer Service teams to align operational goals, streamline processes, and enhance service delivery.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Establish, track, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), service metrics, and operational reports to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
- Preventive Maintenance Oversight: Ensure the implementation of robust preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime, reduce costs, and extend fleet longevity.
- Customer Retention & Service Excellence: Champion a culture of service excellence, driving customer satisfaction initiatives and implementing best practices to retain high-value fleet accounts.
- Strategic Planning Support: Assist in annual budgeting, workforce planning, and the development of business strategies to align fleet operations with organizational objectives.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of progressive managerial experience in automotive after-sales, fleet management, or B2B service operations.
- In-depth knowledge of fleet maintenance operations, automotive industry trends, and service delivery best practices.
- Proven track record in business development, contract negotiation, and client relationship management within a competitive market.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across departments.
- Strong analytical acumen and proficiency in data-driven decision-making, with experience in generating insightful reports and dashboards.
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Experience
While not mandatory, the following experience will be highly advantageous:
- Prior experience within an automotive dealership environment.
- Hands-on experience in fleet maintenance and service contract management.
- Exposure to corporate and government fleet accounts, including large-scale contract negotiations.
- Expertise in KPI management and business performance reporting frameworks.
