Key Responsibilities

The Associate - Infrastructure will provide technical expertise and project management support to ensure the successful delivery of multi-disciplinary dry utilities infrastructure projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Technical Support and Project Management: Collaborate with senior team members to deliver high-quality dry utilities projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and compliance standards.
• Tendering and Commercial Administration: Participate in project tendering activities by contributing technical insights that support commercial decision-making, resource allocation, and strategic planning.
• Documentation and Quality Assurance: Prepare, review, and validate detailed technical specifications, drawings, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with local and international regulations. Conduct thorough technical and quality reviews to identify and resolve potential issues proactively.
• Project Audits and Documentation: Support project audits by maintaining transparent and comprehensive documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring accountability and traceability.
• Electrical Network Design and Analysis: Develop and analyze ETAP models for electrical network design and master plan configurations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Street Lighting Design: Perform Dialux street lighting calculations and design street lighting systems that meet project requirements and adhere to industry best practices.
• Master Plan Design: Assist in the design of medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) network master plans, ensuring efficient and compliant infrastructure layouts that support sustainable development goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with architects, engineers, and stakeholders from diverse disciplines to deliver projects on schedule and within budget constraints. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members on technical matters and industry best practices.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs comply with Saudi Arabia’s electrical codes, local regulations, and international design standards, including NEC, IEC, and other relevant frameworks.
• BIM Coordination: Contribute to Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination efforts, including clash detection, to maintain an integrated and clash-free project model.
• Innovation and Technology Adoption: Embrace emerging technologies and innovative approaches in dry utilities infrastructure design to enhance project outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
• Project Prioritization and Organization: Manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, organization, and adherence to project deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and professional attributes:

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline is required. A postgraduate qualification is preferred and will be considered an asset.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in dry utilities infrastructure design and project delivery, with a proven track record in complex, multi-disciplinary environments.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in ETAP modeling for electrical network analysis and design, as well as proficiency in Dialux software for street lighting calculations and design.
• Master Plan Design: Extensive experience in master plan MV and LV network design, with a deep understanding of electrical distribution systems and infrastructure planning.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabia’s electrical codes, local regulations, and international design standards, including NEC, IEC, and other relevant frameworks.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail are essential.
