Key Responsibilities

As a Medical Representative at GSK, your core responsibilities will include:

• Relationship Building: Develop and maintain trusted, long-term relationships with healthcare professionals to better understand and address their patients’ evolving medical needs.
• Territory Strategy Execution: Implement and execute tailored territory strategies using effective communication techniques and GSK-approved resources to drive engagement and results.
• Scientific Engagement: Conduct insightful scientific discussions and group meetings with healthcare professionals to share clinical knowledge, therapeutic insights, and product information that supports evidence-based decision-making.
• Market Intelligence: Provide timely and accurate feedback on market trends, customer insights, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic business decisions and enhance GSK’s market positioning.
• Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all activities are conducted in full compliance with GSK’s policies, local regulatory requirements, and standard operating procedures to uphold the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
• Resource Optimization: Manage company resources—including time, budget, and materials—responsibly and efficiently to maximize impact and return on investment within your territory.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Nationality: Saudi national.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Professional Licensing: Valid license from the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCFHS) as a certified pharmacist in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience: Up to two years of relevant experience in sales, medical detailing, or a similar role that involves direct engagement with healthcare professionals. Fresh graduates with a strong academic background and a passion for the pharmaceutical industry are highly encouraged to apply.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex scientific information in a clear and compelling manner. Demonstrated self-motivation, time management, and organizational abilities to thrive in a dynamic, field-based environment.

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are considered advantageous:

• Prior experience in multinational pharmaceutical companies or within the healthcare sector.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical sales and distribution processes.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools, with the ability to interpret market data and generate actionable insights.
• Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Valid Saudi driving license with a clean driving record, as the role requires frequent travel within your assigned territory.

Work Environment and Culture

This is a field-based position located in Makkah or Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves regular travel to healthcare facilities, including hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies, to engage with key opinion leaders, physicians, and other healthcare stakeholders.
