Position Overview

Tameed, the pioneering Debt-Based Crowd Lending Platform licensed by the Saudi Central Bank, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and supporting our mission to provide fast and efficient financing solutions for purchase orders. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will be entrusted with a diverse range of accounting responsibilities designed to uphold the financial integrity of our organization. Your core duties will include:

• Financial Reporting: Review and prepare accurate financial statements, ensuring they align with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with senior leadership to compile reports for the Chief Executive Officer, providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Compliance & Governance: Ensure strict adherence to local and international financial regulations, including those mandated by the Saudi Central Bank. Develop and implement robust internal accounting policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency and mitigate financial risks.
• Record Management: Establish and maintain meticulous fiscal files and records to document all transactions, ensuring transparency and accountability in financial operations.
• Operational Excellence: Contribute to the achievement of financial accounting objectives by supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, reconciling accounts, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaboration & Support: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and compliance, to foster a cohesive and high-performing organizational culture.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field from a recognized institution. Candidates with a minimum GPA of 3.5 out of 5 or 2.5 out of 4 will be given preference.
• Professional Experience: Up to one year of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or financial services environment. Fresh graduates with a strong academic record and internship experience will also be considered.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of Google Workspace and Odoo, with the ability to leverage these tools to streamline accounting processes and enhance productivity.
• Language & Communication: Fluency in English is essential, with excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
• Analytical & Adaptive Skills: Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and propose strategic solutions. A flexible and adaptable mindset to thrive in a dynamic and evolving business landscape.
