Position Overview

Join Bayut, the leading property portal in the Kingdom, as an Internal Audit Associate and play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity and efficiency of our operations. Key Responsibilities

In this critical position, you will execute a risk-based internal audit plan approved by senior leadership, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices. Your responsibilities will include:

• Risk Assessment & Audit Planning: Identify and evaluate risk areas across core and support processes within audited departments, providing actionable insights to refine the annual audit plan. Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize high-risk areas and develop tailored audit strategies.
• Audit Execution & Quality Assurance: Lead and manage audit projects by documenting processes, reviewing evidence, and identifying control deficiencies. Develop comprehensive audit programs, including Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs), to ensure thorough and systematic evaluations.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare detailed work papers, audit findings, and recommendations in alignment with professional standards. Communicate results effectively through written reports and oral presentations to senior management and auditee departments, fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Process Improvement: Facilitate meetings with auditee departments to discuss findings, remediation plans, and best practices. Assist the line manager in identifying innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and risk mitigation across the organization.
• Compliance & Continuous Monitoring: Stay abreast of evolving internal audit standards, control monitoring techniques, and data analytics tools to enhance audit methodologies. Support the implementation of process mining and analytics to drive data-driven decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must possess the following:

• Professional Qualifications: CIA, CISA, CFE, CRMA, CA, ACCA, CPA, MBA (Finance), or equivalent, with a strong foundation in commerce or finance.
• Relevant Experience: 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in Internal Audit, Consulting, Advisory, or Risk Management. Prior exposure to Big 4 audit firms, particularly in internal audit, is highly advantageous.
• Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Internal Audit Standards, Control Monitoring frameworks, and process mining tools. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to articulate findings clearly to diverse audiences. Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Prior experience in team supervision or management, coupled with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
