Senior Project Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate closely with the project manager and team to ensure seamless project execution through meticulous documentation, rigorous cost control, precise scheduling, and expert construction supervision. Key Responsibilities

• Project Management Support: Provide comprehensive assistance to the project manager and team, ensuring all project documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards. Oversee job cost accounting processes to maintain financial transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Scheduling and Execution: Monitor project progress rigorously to ensure alignment with anticipated timelines. Identify potential bottlenecks and proactively implement corrective measures to keep the project on track and within budget.
• Construction Supervision: Lead on-site management efforts to guarantee that construction activities adhere to project specifications, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Foster a collaborative environment that promotes teamwork and operational excellence.
• Documentation and Compliance: Manage the Request for Information (RFI) and submittal processes with precision, ensuring all submissions are timely, accurate, and compliant with project requirements. Maintain meticulous records to facilitate audits and regulatory reviews.
• Financial Oversight: Process owner billings and address project-related accounting issues with diligence. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• Experience: Minimum of eight years of progressive experience in project coordination, project engineering, or project management roles. A proven track record in successfully delivering complex projects within scope, schedule, and budget is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Project. Experience with project management software and tools is a plus.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth familiarity with industry rules, regulations, best practices, and performance standards. Commitment to upholding safety, quality, and compliance in all project activities.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
