Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our finance team. In this pivotal role, you will deliver advanced financial insights and drive data-informed decision-making to optimize organizational performance. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with business leaders to ensure financial accuracy, support strategic objectives, and contribute to critical processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and investment evaluation. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Financial Planning: Lead the development of comprehensive budgets, forecasts, and management reports to facilitate informed planning and performance monitoring. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and provide actionable insights to drive decision-making.
- Financial Analysis and Reporting: Conduct in-depth analysis of financial results, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and identify trends, variances, and areas of concern. Present findings in a clear and concise manner to support leadership in evaluating performance and making strategic adjustments.
- Investment and Divestment Evaluation: Support the assessment of potential investments and divestments through detailed financial modeling, scenario analysis, and risk evaluation. Provide data-driven recommendations to guide executive decision-making on resource allocation and portfolio optimization.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business teams across the organization to gather financial data, validate assumptions, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, offering insights to enhance operational and financial performance.
- Affiliate Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the financial performance of affiliates, identifying trends and opportunities to enhance profitability and efficiency. Deliver actionable recommendations to optimize results and support the achievement of corporate objectives.
- Process Improvement and Automation: Develop and implement innovative tools, processes, and automation solutions to streamline routine financial analysis and reporting tasks. Enhance the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations while reducing manual effort and minimizing errors.
- Cost Efficiency and Process Optimization: Leverage data-driven analysis to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvements, and enhanced financial reporting accuracy. Recommend and implement best practices to drive operational excellence and financial discipline.
- Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis: Conduct specialized financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, market expansions, or other high-impact projects. Provide timely and insightful recommendations to senior management to inform critical business decisions.
Qualifications and Competencies
To excel in this role, candidates must possess a blend of technical expertise, analytical acumen, and strong interpersonal skills. The following qualifications and competencies are essential:
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or professional certification such as ACCA, CFA, CPA, or CMA is highly preferred and will be considered a significant advantage.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting techniques.
- Expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting processes, with a deep understanding of financial systems and tools such as SAP, Oracle, IFS, Power BI, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong capability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into actionable insights for stakeholders at all levels.
- Comprehensive knowledge of investment and divestment evaluation methodologies, including discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, net present value (NPV), and internal rate of return (IRR).
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical reasoning, and the ability to solve complex financial challenges with innovative solutions. A proactive approach to identifying risks and opportunities is critical.
- Communication and Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and persuasively to non-financial stakeholders. A collaborative mindset with the capacity to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Experience Requirements
Applicants should have a minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning and Analysis or a related finance function. Prior exposure to industries such as manufacturing, technology, or professional services is beneficial, though not mandatory. Experience in a multinational or complex organizational structure is a plus, as it demonstrates the ability to navigate diverse financial landscapes and drive value across multiple business units.
