As we scale further, we are seeking a visionary Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the transformation of our operational engine, ensuring we are equipped for the next phase of sustainable growth and market leadership.

About the Role

As the COO, you will assume full ownership of our day-to-day operations and performance, collaborating closely with the CEO and the executive leadership team to elevate our systems, standards, and execution capabilities. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of our brand, which is already well-established and continues to expand at an accelerated pace. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving operational excellence, optimizing performance, and ensuring seamless scalability across all functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Retail Operations Leadership: Oversee end-to-end retail operations across 170+ locations in the GCC, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and alignment with brand standards.
• Operational Excellence: Drive improvements in store productivity, implement robust standards, optimize staffing models, and enhance the overall customer experience to foster loyalty and satisfaction.
• International Expansion Readiness: Develop operational playbooks and frameworks to support seamless international expansion and entry into new markets, ensuring scalability and adaptability.
• Omnichannel Integration: Lead the alignment between physical stores, e-commerce platforms, and customer care channels to deliver a cohesive and unified brand experience across all touchpoints.
• Performance Management: Establish and monitor KPIs, create insightful dashboards, and implement structured operating rhythms to drive accountability and continuous improvement across all functions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Commercial, Brand/Marketing, Finance, HR, and Digital teams to ensure cohesive execution and alignment of operational priorities with broader business objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience in a COO, VP Operations, or Retail Director role within scaled consumer or retail businesses, with a preference for sectors such as beauty, fragrance, fashion, or luxury.
• Operational Scalability: A strong track record of upgrading and optimizing operations in multi-country, multi-store environments, managing hundreds of locations with a focus on efficiency and growth.
• GCC Market Expertise: In-depth knowledge of the GCC market dynamics and the ability to lead diverse teams across multiple regions while being based in Kuwait.
• Hands-On Approach: A proactive, “roll-up-your-sleeves” leadership style that emphasizes close engagement with store operations, frontline teams, and direct customer insights to drive informed decision-making.
• Strategic Alignment: Exceptional ownership mindset, clear and persuasive communication skills, and the ability to align cross-functional teams around high-impact operational priorities to achieve business goals.
