Ferrari Logistics, a leading provider of integrated logistics and high-value-added services for jewellery and precious goods worldwide, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Operation Supervisor to oversee and enhance our import/export operations and domestic transportation network in Riyadh. This pivotal role demands a strategic leader capable of ensuring regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and seamless shipment execution while guiding and supporting a dedicated coordination team. The ideal candidate will excel in managing escalations, driving process improvements, and maintaining strict adherence to company and customs regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Logistics Oversight: Supervise the complete lifecycle of import and export operations, including shipment scheduling, customs clearance, and final delivery or pickup, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate with international network offices, freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to foster seamless logistics operations and resolve cross-functional challenges.
• Performance Monitoring & Issue Resolution: Track shipment progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and operational metrics while proactively identifying and addressing delays, bottlenecks, and service disruptions.
• Escalation Management: Handle operational escalations involving customs delays, documentation discrepancies, shipment damage, and logistical disruptions with a solutions-oriented approach.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure meticulous adherence to Saudi customs regulations and international trade requirements, maintaining accurate shipment tracking, status updates, and Proof of Delivery (POD) management within designated systems.
• Process Optimization: Evaluate current logistics workflows, recommend strategic improvements, and implement enhancements to boost operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
• Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and support the coordination team, fostering a culture of accountability, adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs), and continuous professional growth.

Skills & Competencies

• Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in logistics software, ERP systems, and shipment tracking platforms to streamline operations and data management.
• Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of customs documentation, international trade compliance, and Saudi customs regulations.
• Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex logistical challenges, make data-driven decisions, and implement effective solutions under pressure.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership qualities with the capacity to inspire and guide teams, coupled with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Proficiency in Arabic is a valuable asset.
• Adaptability & Resilience: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, work in fast-paced environments, and deliver operational excellence despite evolving demands.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in import/export operations, freight forwarding, or logistics, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Proven knowledge of Saudi customs regulations and international trade compliance is highly advantageous.
