Strategic Leadership Role in Retail Banking

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Retail Business Planning Senior Manager to drive our annual business planning and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with our divisional and bank-wide strategic objectives. This role is instrumental in providing insights and recommendations to senior management, supporting strategic decision-making and ensuring timely delivery of performance reports and executive presentations.

• Manage the Retail Banking annual business planning and budgeting process, ensuring alignment with divisional and bank-wide strategic objectives.
• Conduct regular performance reviews against financial and operational targets, providing structured variance analysis and recommendations to senior management.
• Liaise with Finance, Strategy, IT, and Retail Banking divisions to coordinate data inputs and ensure accuracy of planning assumptions and performance reports.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities in Retail Banking performance data and communicate insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure timely delivery of all Retail Banking performance reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
• Drive continuous improvement of business planning methodologies, tools, and reporting frameworks.
• Report on Retail Banking financial performance, planning progress, and strategic initiative execution to senior management on a regular basis.
• Negotiate with business units on target-setting assumptions and corrective action plans as part of the performance review process.

To excel in this role, you will possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a relevant major, along with a CFA Level I, CIMA, or equivalent financial planning or management accounting certification. A minimum of 5 years of experience, with 3 years in a relevant role, is preferred. Prior experience in retail banking business planning, financial performance management, or strategy analysis within a banking or financial services environment is highly desirable.
