We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA/QC Engineer (Steel Structure) to oversee and ensure the highest standards of quality in our steel structure fabrication and erection projects. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure developments in Saudi Arabia while working with a leading team of professionals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in steel structure quality assurance and control, with a deep understanding of local and international regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

As a QA/QC Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining compliance with stringent quality requirements throughout all project phases. Your responsibilities will include:

• Quality Assurance & Control: Implement and monitor quality management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, ensuring adherence to project specifications and industry best practices.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Saudi Building Code (SBC), Royal Commission Standards (RC), and the quality requirements of key entities such as ARAMCO, SEC, and SWCC.
• Documentation & Reporting: Prepare, review, and manage critical quality documentation, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, Material Submittals, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).
• Inspection & Testing: Conduct thorough inspections of welding, coating, and structural steel components to verify compliance with project standards and safety protocols.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with consultants, clients, contractors, and third-party inspection agencies to resolve quality-related issues and ensure seamless project execution.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for enhancing quality control processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.

Qualifications & Experience

To excel in this role, you must meet the following criteria:

• Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years in quality assurance and control within Main Contractors or Steel Structure Contractors operating in Saudi Arabia.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of steel structure fabrication, erection methodologies, and quality control processes.
• Regulatory Expertise: Familiarity with Saudi quality regulations, including SBC, RC, ARAMCO, SEC, and SWCC standards, as well as ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Documentation Skills: Proficient in managing quality-related documentation, including ITPs, Method Statements, and non-conformance reports.
• Inspection Proficiency: Strong background in welding inspection, coating inspection, and structural steel quality control.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to liaise effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Location Preference: Preference will be given to candidates currently based in Saudi Arabia.
