About the Role

JASARA PMC is seeking a seasoned and strategic PMO Manager to lead our Project Management Office (PMO) and elevate the organization’s project delivery capabilities. In this critical leadership position, you will be instrumental in shaping and implementing robust project management frameworks, methodologies, and performance metrics to ensure projects are executed with precision, efficiency, and alignment to our strategic goals. Your role will bridge the gap between project execution and corporate objectives, driving value creation and operational excellence across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic PMO Leadership: Develop, refine, and execute PMO strategies, processes, and standards that enhance project execution, delivery, and governance. Ensure these frameworks are scalable, adaptable, and aligned with industry best practices.
• Project Performance Oversight: Monitor, analyze, and report on project performance metrics to ensure alignment with organizational objectives, resource availability, and budgetary constraints. Provide actionable insights to stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.
• Resource and Portfolio Management: Facilitate project prioritization, resource allocation, and portfolio optimization to maximize the value delivered by each initiative. Collaborate with executive leadership to align project portfolios with long-term business strategies.
• Risk and Compliance Management: Conduct regular project reviews, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential issues, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement. Ensure adherence to project management standards, regulatory requirements, and documentation protocols.
• Team Development and Support: Provide mentorship, training, and guidance to project managers and teams on PMO methodologies, tools, and best practices. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the PMO and across the organization.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Act as a central point of contact for all project management-related inquiries, offering expert advice and solutions to stakeholders at all levels. Build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, executive leadership, and external partners.
• Process Improvement and Innovation: Drive continuous improvement in project management processes by analyzing lessons learned, benchmarking against industry standards, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in project management, with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role. Demonstrated success in establishing, leading, and scaling a PMO within a dynamic organization is essential.
• Methodologies and Certifications: Deep understanding of project management methodologies, including but not limited to PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches. PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is highly preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, or similar platforms). Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to drive insights and decision-making.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and stakeholders. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with a results-driven mindset.
