Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Cybersecurity Architecture Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and fortifying the security frameworks of our clients, particularly within the banking sector. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of strategic and technical duties, including:
- Enterprise Security Architecture Design: Develop and review enterprise security architectures that align with the Saudi Central Bank’s (SAMA) Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and other industry-leading standards to ensure robust protection against evolving threats.
- Security-by-Design Implementation: Champion the integration of security-by-design principles across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments, fostering a proactive approach to risk mitigation and compliance.
- Security Architecture Transformation Leadership: Lead transformative initiatives to modernize security architectures within banking environments, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Zero-Trust Architecture Development: Design and implement comprehensive zero-trust architecture frameworks that enforce strict identity verification, minimize attack surfaces, and enhance overall security posture.
- Security Assessments and Audits: Conduct thorough security assessments for critical systems and applications, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending remediation strategies to safeguard sensitive data and assets.
- Reference Architecture Development: Create detailed security reference architectures tailored for cloud and digital transformation projects, providing a blueprint for secure implementation and scalability.
- Risk Mitigation and Advisory: Deliver expert recommendations to mitigate architectural risks, ensuring that security controls are both effective and aligned with business goals.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders across IT, security, and business teams to foster a unified approach to cybersecurity, ensuring seamless integration of security measures with organizational processes.
Qualifications and Experience
To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in cybersecurity principles and practices.
- A minimum of six years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity architecture, with a proven track record of designing and implementing robust security frameworks.
- In-depth knowledge of the Saudi Central Bank’s (SAMA) Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) and a comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance requirements in the banking sector.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks such as SABSA (Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture) and TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), enabling you to develop cohesive and scalable security architectures.
- Proven experience in cloud security and the implementation of zero-trust architecture, ensuring secure and resilient digital environments.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, allowing you to identify complex security challenges and devise effective solutions.
- Relevant professional certifications, such as CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), SABSA, TOGAF, AWS Security, or ISO 27001, demonstrating your commitment to excellence and continuous learning in the field of cybersecurity.
