Job Purpose

The Assistant Manager - Assets Infrastructure Delivery plays a pivotal role in driving the successful planning, coordination, and execution of technology infrastructure projects across Qiddiya’s diverse assets and developments. This position is instrumental in ensuring the seamless implementation of IT infrastructure solutions, from network and connectivity to workplace technology, security, and data center infrastructure. By collaborating closely with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams, the role ensures that technology services are delivered in alignment with business objectives, project timelines, and organizational standards, thereby supporting the long-term vision of Qiddiya’s infrastructure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

The Assistant Manager - Assets Infrastructure Delivery is entrusted with a broad spectrum of responsibilities, including:

  • Infrastructure Project Delivery:
    • Provide end-to-end support for the delivery of technology infrastructure projects across Qiddiya’s assets, facilities, and developments.
    • Coordinate the implementation of critical infrastructure components, including network solutions, workplace technology, security systems, and data center infrastructure.
    • Monitor project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies to ensure timely execution and adherence to project timelines.
    • Facilitate the smooth transition of completed projects to operations and service teams, ensuring operational readiness and minimal disruption.
  • Planning & Coordination:
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and technology vendors throughout the project lifecycle to ensure alignment and successful outcomes.
    • Assist in reviewing project requirements, technical designs, and implementation plans to validate feasibility and alignment with business objectives.
    • Support infrastructure capacity planning and technology readiness activities to ensure scalability and future-proofing of solutions.
    • Track project progress meticulously and provide regular status updates to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
    • Cultivate and manage relationships with external vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to contractual obligations.
    • Coordinate vendor activities, deliverables, and project schedules to maintain alignment with project goals and timelines.
    • Support procurement activities by conducting technical evaluations, managing quotations, processing purchase requests, and facilitating contract execution.
    • Organize and facilitate meetings and workshops with business and technical stakeholders to foster collaboration and resolve critical issues.
  • Governance & Reporting:
    • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, trackers, and governance records to ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Prepare project dashboards, progress reports, risk registers, and executive presentations to provide stakeholders with actionable insights and visibility into project health.
    • Monitor project risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests to proactively mitigate challenges and ensure project success.
    • Ensure strict adherence to organizational standards, policies, and governance frameworks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Infrastructure Readiness & Handover:
    • Support testing, commissioning, and operational readiness activities to validate infrastructure performance and reliability.
    • Coordinate infrastructure handover activities with operations and support teams to ensure a seamless transition from project delivery to ongoing operations.
    • Verify that all project deliverables, documentation, and acceptance criteria are completed and meet predefined standards.
    • Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify opportunities for improvement and drive continuous enhancement in future projects.

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, ITIL, CCNA, or equivalent are highly preferred and demonstrate a commitment to professional excellence in project and infrastructure management.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive experience in IT infrastructure delivery, technology project management, or enterprise infrastructure operations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering complex infrastructure projects within defined timelines and budgets.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networks, security, data centers, and workplace technologies.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, vendor coordination, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment.
