Key Responsibilities

Strategic Insights & Planning

In this role, you will play a critical part in driving the financial strategy for Qiddiya’s hospitality developments. Your responsibilities will include:

• Macroeconomic & Sector Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of macroeconomic trends, tourism dynamics, and sector-specific developments to inform the Hospitality Team’s long-term strategic direction.
• Strategic Planning Leadership: Spearhead strategic initiatives, including long-range forecasting, capital planning, and scenario modeling, to ensure robust financial frameworks underpin our development goals.
• Investment Criteria & Performance Targets: Translate high-level strategic priorities into actionable investment criteria and measurable performance targets, providing clear guidance for project evaluation and execution.
• Senior Management Advisory: Deliver strategic insights and recommendations to senior leadership, highlighting key risks, opportunities, and value-creation potential to support informed decision-making.

Investment Analysis & Decision Support

Your expertise will be instrumental in evaluating development opportunities and guiding investment decisions. Key tasks include:

• Financial Analysis & Modeling: Oversee comprehensive financial analysis for development opportunities, investment cases, and post-completion reviews to assess viability and potential returns.
• Executive Presentations & Investment Packs: Prepare compelling investment packs and high-impact presentations tailored for executive-level stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Risk Assessment & Sensitivity Analysis: Conduct rigorous sensitivity analyses and risk assessments for major capital expenditure requests and strategic projects, providing data-driven insights to mitigate potential challenges.
• Funding Process Support: Collaborate with external stakeholders to prepare investor-ready financial statements and business cases, facilitating seamless funding processes for our projects.

Project, Pipeline & Portfolio Leadership

You will work closely with Development and Hospitality leadership teams to structure initiatives and guide project analysis, ensuring alignment with Qiddiya’s overarching goals. Responsibilities include:

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with development and hospitality teams to structure initiatives, providing financial expertise to guide project analysis and decision-making.
• Portfolio Insights & Performance Diagnostics: Deliver portfolio-level insights, performance diagnostics, and forecasts to senior management, enabling data-driven portfolio optimization and strategic adjustments.
• Consistency & Accuracy in Analysis: Ensure uniformity and precision across feasibility studies and investment appraisals, maintaining high standards of financial rigor and compliance.

Requirements

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Hotel Management, Applied Mathematics, or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in investment analysis, feasibility studies, and financial modeling, with a strong preference for candidates with a background in hotels, real estate, or consulting.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced financial modeling skills and demonstrated expertise in Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools and techniques.
• Commercial Acumen: Exceptional commercial judgment, with the ability to influence stakeholders, articulate complex financial concepts, and deliver structured, insightful outputs that drive strategic decisions.
