About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Market Access Manager – Vaccines to lead the development and execution of comprehensive market access strategies that ensure timely and sustainable patient access to our company’s in-line and pipeline vaccines portfolio. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in securing optimal pricing, reimbursement, and formulary positioning by transforming scientific, clinical, health economic, and real-world evidence into compelling value propositions tailored to the needs of payers and healthcare decision-makers. Your work will directly support new product launches, lifecycle management, and policy shaping, aligning with our mission to save and improve lives globally.
Key Responsibilities
Market Access Strategy & Execution
- Develop and implement robust market access strategies for both in-line products and upcoming launches to secure favorable pricing, reimbursement, and formulary inclusion.
- Design evidence-based access pathways, pricing frameworks, and execution plans that align with payer expectations and deliver measurable patient value.
- Drive new product planning (NPP) activities up to 24 months pre-launch, including competitive landscape analysis, access risk assessment, and early stakeholder engagement to ensure a smooth market entry.
Pricing, Reimbursement & Dossier Management
- Lead or independently execute pricing and reimbursement submissions, including the preparation and coordination of value dossiers, Budget Impact Analyses (BIA), Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) components, and tailored payer materials.
- Conduct in-depth pricing analyses, such as international reference pricing, internal and external benchmarking, and scenario modeling, to optimize commercial outcomes and maximize market potential.
- Contribute to tender strategies, contracting approaches, and access negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions for our vaccines portfolio.
Health Economics & Evidence Generation
- Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs and HEOR teams to identify and develop health economic and real-world evidence that aligns with market access requirements.
- Support the local adaptation of economic models, validation of key assumptions, incorporation of local data, and development of manuscripts or publications to strengthen our value proposition.
- Translate complex data into clear, concise, and payer-focused value messages that highlight innovation, clinical outcomes, and system-level benefits.
Stakeholder & Policy Engagement
- Conduct comprehensive stakeholder mapping and develop targeted engagement strategies with payers, Health Technology Assessment (HTA) bodies, policymakers, hospitals, and key healthcare institutions.
- Partner with Policy and External Affairs teams to shape a supportive pricing and reimbursement environment, leveraging scientific evidence, real-world data, and international best practices.
- Build and maintain trusted, compliant relationships with both internal and external stakeholders to foster sustainable and long-term market access success.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Governance
- Work collaboratively across functions, including Marketing, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, and Regional/Global Market Access teams, to ensure alignment on access deliverables and value messaging.
- Lead or contribute to cross-functional launch teams and governance forums to ensure access readiness and execution excellence throughout the product lifecycle.
- Monitor and track market access Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to continuously improve pricing, access, and reimbursement performance, driving measurable business outcomes.
Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Health Economics, Public Health, Medicine, or a related field; a Master’s degree is highly preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in Market Access, HEOR, Pricing & Reimbursement, or broader pharmaceutical industry experience with demonstrated exposure to access-related functions.
- Proven track record supporting pricing/reimbursement submissions and product launches, with a strong preference for candidates with direct experience in the vaccines sector.
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep understanding of local healthcare systems, pricing and reimbursement processes, and payer decision-making dynamics.
- Strong analytical capabilities, including the ability to interpret health economic, clinical, and real-world data to inform strategic decisions.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, and project management skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across diverse teams.
- High learning agility, problem-solving mindset, and the capacity to thrive in matrix environments with a focus on results.
- Proficiency in Excel, data analysis tools, and familiarity with market access software or platforms is a plus.
