Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Head – Middle East to lead our sales operations in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This senior leadership role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and reports directly to the VP at our India Headquarters. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the Middle East market, particularly within the engineering, construction, and infrastructure sectors. This role demands a hands-on, field-first approach, requiring the candidate to thrive in a fast-paced, relationship-driven environment while driving revenue growth and expanding Pinnacle’s market presence.
Key Responsibilities
The Regional Sales Head will serve as the most senior Pinnacle leader in the Middle East, holding full accountability for regional revenue, client relationships, and team performance. The role encompasses the following core responsibilities:
- Regional Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Middle East, with a primary focus on KSA and secondary coverage of the UAE.
- Set and achieve ambitious regional revenue targets in alignment with the VP, ensuring consistent quarterly performance.
- Identify, pursue, and close high-value business opportunities in construction, infrastructure, EPC, and engineering services sectors across KSA.
- Build and maintain a robust senior-level network with developers, main contractors, government entities, and Vision 2030-linked organizations in the Kingdom.
- Lead all critical bid, proposal, and commercial negotiation activities from opportunity identification to contract execution.
- Ensure a structured and healthy sales pipeline by qualifying, tracking, and progressing opportunities systematically.
- On-ground Market Presence & Strategic Travel:
- Engage in extensive and regular travel across KSA to meet clients, prospects, consultants, and project stakeholders in person—this is a field-first role that prioritizes in-person interactions over desk-based activities.
- Conduct strategic face-to-face meetings with key decision-makers, procurement heads, and project owners to strengthen client relationships and uncover new opportunities.
- Stay ahead of market trends by maintaining a deep and proactive understanding of upcoming projects, including:
- NEOM
- Diriyah
- Red Sea
- Qiddiya
- Vision 2030 initiatives
- Private sector developments
- Government-led infrastructure projects
- Convert market intelligence into actionable business opportunities at the earliest stages of project development.
- Position Pinnacle as the preferred partner in the region by actively promoting the company’s capabilities and solutions.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration:
- Directly manage the on-site KSA sales and operations team, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight.
- Collaborate closely with the Deputy Sales Head – ME & India (based in India) to ensure a cohesive and coordinated sales approach across both geographies.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the team, driving accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Client & Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients and stakeholders in the Middle East, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
- Develop and maintain long-term strategic partnerships with major industry players to secure repeat business and referrals.
- Represent Pinnacle at industry events, conferences, and forums to enhance brand visibility and credibility.
Qualifications & Experience
To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive sales leadership experience, with a strong focus on the Middle East market.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth in the engineering, construction, and infrastructure sectors.
- Significant experience in KSA and UAE, with a deep understanding of local market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, and business practices.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Exceptional leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on developing high-performing sales teams.
- Strong commercial acumen, including expertise in bid management, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with a results-driven mindset.
- Willingness to travel extensively across KSA and the UAE, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Preferred Profile: Candidates around 40 years of age with a strong track record in the Middle East market are highly preferred.
