Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dry Cleaner to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating dry-cleaning machinery with precision while ensuring the highest standards of garment care and cleanliness. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in maintaining the pristine appearance of our guests’ garments, contributing to their overall satisfaction and comfort during their stay.

Key Responsibilities

• Garment Care and Cleaning: Operate dry-cleaning machines efficiently to deliver exceptional cleaning results while preserving the integrity of delicate fabrics and garments.
• Fabric Analysis: Accurately identify various fabric types and determine the most appropriate cleaning methods to ensure optimal care and longevity of each garment.
• Stain Removal Expertise: Apply advanced stain-removal techniques to effectively treat and eliminate stains without compromising the fabric’s quality or appearance.
• Pre- and Post-Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of garments before and after cleaning to verify cleanliness, condition, and any potential damage, ensuring only flawless items are returned to guests.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of dry-cleaning equipment to uphold operational efficiency and extend the lifespan of machinery.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhere strictly to chemical handling protocols and safety procedures to mitigate risks and maintain a secure working environment.
• Issue Reporting: Promptly report any damaged garments or technical issues with machinery to the appropriate supervisor to facilitate timely resolutions.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience: Minimum of two years of hands-on experience in dry cleaning, with a proven track record in garment care and stain removal.
• Technical Knowledge: In-depth understanding of fabric types, dry-cleaning chemicals, and the operation of dry-cleaning equipment.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional observational skills to identify fabric sensitivities, stains, and potential damage during inspection processes.
• Safety Awareness: Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant work environment through adherence to established protocols.
• Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team, communicating clearly and efficiently to ensure seamless operations.
