Key Responsibilities

• Coffee and Beverage Preparation: Operate and maintain brewing equipment to prepare a variety of high-quality coffee and beverages, adhering to established recipes and standards. Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality across all orders.
• Customer Interaction: Take customer orders with accuracy and efficiency, providing recommendations and answering inquiries about our menu. Foster a positive and engaging atmosphere by delivering friendly, attentive, and personalized service.
• Workspace Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace, including the coffee station, equipment, and dining areas. Follow food safety and preparation guidelines to uphold health and safety standards.
• Inventory and Equipment Maintenance: Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, syrups, and other supplies, and report any shortages or equipment issues promptly. Perform routine maintenance on brewing machines and tools to ensure optimal performance.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Support team members in fulfilling customer orders and maintaining a cohesive work environment.
• Adaptability and Efficiency: Demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic setting. Adapt quickly to changing demands while maintaining a high level of productivity and attention to detail.

Qualifications and Skills

• Professional Experience: Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry. Hands-on knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art, is highly desirable.
• Customer-Centric Mindset: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a natural ability to engage with customers and build rapport. A passion for delivering outstanding service is essential.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with coffee brewing equipment, POS systems, and inventory management tools. Ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery as needed.
• Hygiene and Safety Compliance: A strong understanding of food safety regulations, hygiene practices, and sanitation standards. Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment at all times.
• Personal Attributes: High level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a customer-facing role is advantageous but not mandatory.
