The Project

This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to contribute to one of the most ambitious and visionary programmes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The project encompasses a groundbreaking mixed-use development that integrates world-class sports facilities, entertainment and arts venues, and all associated infrastructure. As a key delivery partner, Mace is seeking high-calibre, experienced professionals to lead integrated teams through every phase of this transformative initiative.

Your Role and Responsibilities

In this pivotal position, you will play a critical role in overseeing ICT governance, assurance, and technical excellence across sports venues and supporting infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leadership and Governance: Establishing and maintaining robust ICT governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with project objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Team Management: Leading and managing consultants, contractors, and vendors to deliver high-quality ICT solutions that meet the project’s stringent performance and compliance criteria.
• Technical Oversight: Reviewing and approving ICT designs to ensure they meet technical, safety, and operational standards, while driving innovation and efficiency in delivery.
• Infrastructure Expertise: Providing technical leadership across a broad spectrum of ICT domains, including networks, structured cabling, WiFi, VoIP, data centres, and cybersecurity.
• Systems Integration: Ensuring seamless integration of ICT systems with broader infrastructure, including audio-visual (AV) systems, building management systems (BMS), security systems, and digital platforms.
• Installation and Commissioning: Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning processes, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), to guarantee operational readiness and handover.
• Broadcast Infrastructure: Supporting the delivery of broadcast infrastructure, with a focus on Outside Broadcast (OB) connectivity and IP-based media environments to meet the demands of high-profile events.
• Quality Assurance: Conducting rigorous design reviews, audits, and milestone approvals from an owner-side perspective to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• Handover and Documentation: Leading the ICT handover process, ensuring comprehensive documentation, compliance with regulatory standards, and full operational readiness for end-users.
• Sustainability Commitment: Collaborating to achieve the project’s net zero carbon transition goals, proactively identifying and managing carbon emissions and reductions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Your Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the table. The ideal candidate will possess:

• A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as Cisco, Microsoft, or BICSI, with chartership considered a valuable asset.
• A minimum of 12 years of hands-on experience in delivering ICT infrastructure on large-scale or complex programmes.
• Proven experience in a client-side or Project Management Consultancy (PMC) role, with a strong focus on governance, assurance, and delivery oversight.
• Deep technical expertise in ICT infrastructure, including networks, systems integration, data centre design, and construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with broadcast infrastructure and IP-based media systems, ensuring seamless integration with modern digital environments.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to navigate complex environments and drive alignment among diverse teams.
• Eligibility to work in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including meeting all necessary visa criteria and possessing relevant experience in high-value projects for project management consultancies, as required for immigration and client approval.
