Role Overview

As an Application Engineer specializing in drives, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our innovative products and the evolving needs of our global customers. This position requires a blend of technical expertise, strategic insight, and collaborative skills to drive product applications, manage customer requirements, and expand market reach. You will serve as a key liaison between our technical teams and overseas sales, ensuring seamless project execution and fostering long-term customer relationships. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our international projects and the enhancement of our global platform products.

Key Responsibilities

• Insight Planning: Conduct comprehensive analysis of the product application landscape, identifying customer pain points, competitive trends, and emerging opportunities. Develop actionable insights to guide product development and market strategies.
• Customer Requirements Management: Engage with customer technical teams to thoroughly understand their needs, providing tailored solutions that align with their objectives. Oversee the entire requirements process and contribute to the definition of internationally scalable platform products.
• Product Expansion: Collaborate with overseas sales teams to conduct market research and identify expansion opportunities. Assist in the selection and commissioning of products, ensuring project success. Develop and replicate competitive solutions tailored to specific industries or regions to build a strong market presence and reputation.
• Internal Empowerment: Share successful case studies and solutions to enhance team capabilities. Promote knowledge transfer and continuous improvement across departments to drive collective success.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Education: A degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field.
• Technical Knowledge: A solid understanding of the industrial automation industry, with expertise in servo systems, inverters, PLCs, and their applications. Experience with medium-to-high voltage variable frequency drives (VFDs) is highly desirable.
• Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of VFD working principles, motor control, and industrial field applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address on-site technical challenges. Ability to provide independent technical support and conduct on-site commissioning.
• Soft Skills: Self-motivation, independence, and a proactive approach to work. Excellent communication skills in English, with fluency in additional languages considered a valuable asset. Willingness to undertake overseas travel as required.
• Preferred Experience: Prior experience with a reputable company in the industrial automation sector is advantageous.
