The Nurse serves as a critical healthcare professional within the project team, delivering comprehensive medical support to all personnel on-site. This role encompasses the provision of immediate medical care, first aid interventions, and health consultations to address injuries, fractures, or illnesses that may arise during project execution. The Nurse is tasked with administering first aid treatments, evaluating the severity of medical conditions, and determining the necessity for advanced medical intervention through timely referrals to external healthcare facilities, including hospitals or specialized clinics. Additionally, the Nurse maintains meticulous health records, prepares detailed medical reports, and ensures strict compliance with documentation protocols to uphold regulatory and organizational standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Medical Care and First Aid: Deliver prompt and effective first aid treatment to workers experiencing injuries, fractures, or acute illnesses, ensuring stabilization and minimizing complications.
• Health Consultations: Provide professional medical guidance and health education to all project staff, promoting preventive care and fostering a culture of workplace wellness.
• Emergency Response: Act as the first responder in medical emergencies, coordinating with external healthcare providers to facilitate the transfer of patients requiring advanced medical attention.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date health records for all medical interventions, prepare comprehensive medical reports, and ensure all documentation adheres to legal and organizational requirements.
• Compliance and Accreditation: Ensure full compliance with the standards set by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, including obtaining and maintaining necessary approvals and accreditations to practice within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Qualifications and Professional Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized institution. A minimum of five years of professional nursing experience is required, with a strong preference for candidates who have previously worked in Saudi Arabia or within the Middle Eastern healthcare landscape. Proficiency in both English and Arabic is advantageous, though not mandatory.
