Key Responsibilities

In this pivotal position, your duties will encompass a broad spectrum of operational, leadership, and safety-related responsibilities, including:

• Safety and Compliance: Ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of the Airbus A320 in accordance with General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) regulations, company policies, and international aviation standards. Maintain a proactive approach to risk management and hazard identification to uphold the highest levels of operational safety.
• Command and Leadership: Exercise full command authority over all flight operations, crew members, and passengers onboard the aircraft. Lead and manage the flight deck and cabin crew with professionalism, fostering a collaborative and disciplined environment that prioritizes safety and customer satisfaction.
• Operational Decision-Making: Monitor and assess weather conditions, operational constraints, and aircraft performance to make informed and timely decisions that ensure the smooth and efficient execution of each flight. Utilize advanced avionics and flight management systems to optimize flight paths and fuel efficiency.
• Safety Culture and Reporting: Champion a robust safety culture by actively identifying, reporting, and mitigating potential hazards, incidents, or irregularities. Adhere to all reporting protocols and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing operational safety and reliability.
• Customer Experience: Deliver a seamless and positive travel experience for passengers by ensuring professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency in all interactions. Represent flyadeal with integrity and excellence, both during flight operations and layovers, to reinforce our commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Regulatory Adherence: Maintain compliance with all applicable aviation regulations, including GACA requirements, and ensure that all flight operations, documentation, and procedures align with industry best practices and company standards.

Operational Base

This position is based within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with opportunities to operate from multiple flyadeal bases across the country. The successful candidate will be required to relocate to the designated base and demonstrate flexibility in accommodating operational demands, including potential layovers and irregular schedules.

Requirements

To qualify for this prestigious role, candidates must meet the following stringent criteria:

• Flying Experience: Minimum of 4,000 total flying hours on Airbus A320 or turbojet aircraft exceeding 30 tons, with experience in Flight Management Computer (FMC), Electronic Flight Instrument System (EFIS), and glass cockpit avionics.
• Command Experience: Minimum of 2,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) on the Airbus A320 or a comparable aircraft category, demonstrating leadership and operational proficiency.
• Licensing and Certifications: Valid ICAO Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), with a preference for a GACA license or a convertible equivalent. Current Airbus A320 Type Rating and a valid Class 1 Medical Certificate issued by GACA, EASA, or an FAA equivalent are mandatory.
• Language Proficiency: Minimum English Language Proficiency (ELP) Level 4, ensuring clear and effective communication in all operational contexts.
• Safety Record: A pristine safety record with no history of accidents or serious incidents, coupled with a clear criminal background check to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
