Maintenance Engineer

Role & Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Elevator Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor with a minimum of 4 years of progressive, successful experience in an Elevator Company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, ensuring, and controlling the implementation and maintenance plans of Mitsubishi elevators to deliver projects within the allocated budget, quality, and safety standards.

• Plan weekly/monthly maintenance schedules and required manpower for upcoming projects.
• Coordinate with foremen to arrange necessary tools and materials for projects.
• Follow-up with maintenance clients regarding old and new contracts.
• Ensure timely requisitions of spare parts and maintain sufficient stock.
• Re-adjust elevators under maintenance as per Mitsubishi standard.
• Assign work to route technicians and circulate information on new techniques in quality assessment.
• Record and issue tools/equipment and spare parts required for projects.
• Help clients understand required spare parts and identify service type.
• Prepare spare parts quotation and monthly maintenance reports.
• Carry out annual equipment audit and semi-annual physical inventory of spare parts.
• Control and update maintenance and spare parts manuals.
• Create quality & safety inspection plans and conduct in-process audits.
• Ensure provision of PPE and maintain sufficient protective equipment.
• Conduct safety awareness sessions regularly.
• Ensure implementation of quality checks and suggest improvements.
• Conduct audits at job sites to ensure quality work.
• Monitor technicians' activities as per work schedules and quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices.
• Supervise, guide, and assist direct reports in accordance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in equipment maintenance with any brand.
• Must be computer literate with good understanding of MS Office.
• Strong communication skills in Arabic and English.
