Position Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence, safety compliance, and process efficiency within a dynamic defense manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

The Inspection Supervisor will be responsible for a comprehensive range of duties, including:

• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing of valves and other critical components to verify compliance with specified requirements. Analyze test results in accordance with established standards and protocols to ensure precision and reliability.
• Process Adherence and Quality Control: Oversee and enforce adherence to established testing processes and procedures to uphold consistent quality standards. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce defects.
• Tool and Equipment Utilization: Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, measurement instruments, and specialized testing equipment to perform inspection tasks with accuracy and reliability.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of assembly processes, inspection findings, and test results. Prepare detailed reports for supervisors, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies as required.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations, protocols, and industry standards to foster a secure working environment. Implement and promote best practices in safety management to mitigate risks and prevent incidents.
• Communication and Coordination: Facilitate seamless communication with supervisors, peers, and subordinates through various channels, including telephone, email, and in-person interactions. Provide clear and timely updates on project status, challenges, and resolutions.
• Task Execution and Leadership: Execute assignments and instructions promptly and efficiently as directed by the Plant Head. Demonstrate strong leadership qualities to guide and mentor subordinate staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Background: A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required. Additional certifications in quality assurance, inspection, or safety management are advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical engineering principles, automobile systems, industrial automation, and manufacturing processes. Experience with assembly and integration operations in defense or heavy industry sectors is highly desirable.
• Industry Experience: A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in manufacturing, particularly within light engineering, heavy industry, or overseas companies. Prior exposure to industrial machinery, such as generators or diesel engines, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Greenland Group offers a competitive salary package, with compensation ranging from Tk. 150,000 to Tk. 165,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
