Position Overview

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Associate Director - City IT BRM to spearhead the alignment of technology with business objectives within our City Development department. This pivotal role is designed to bridge the gap between IT solutions and business requirements, ensuring that technological advancements drive operational excellence and support the strategic goals of city planning and development initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering collaboration between IT and business units, identifying opportunities for innovation, and overseeing the implementation of IT projects that enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

The Associate Director - City IT BRM will be responsible for a wide range of strategic and operational duties, including:

• Strategic Alignment and Relationship Management: Act as the primary liaison between the IT department and business units within the City Development sector, advocating for business needs in the formulation and execution of IT strategy. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure IT solutions are aligned with business objectives.
• Business Analysis and Requirements Gathering: Identify, analyze, and document business requirements to recommend appropriate technological solutions that enhance operational capabilities. Lead and manage a team of IT business analysts to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project requirements.
• Project Leadership and Execution: Oversee the execution of technology-enabled projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business goals and adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Monitor project performance, deliverables, and milestones, providing regular updates to senior management.
• Stakeholder Engagement and Facilitation: Conduct workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather inputs, refine business requirements, and prioritize project initiatives. Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and business units to ensure a shared understanding of project objectives and outcomes.
• Process Documentation and Continuous Improvement: Develop and maintain comprehensive business process documentation that aligns with technological solutions. Identify opportunities for process optimization and continuous improvement to drive operational excellence.
• Technology and Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to recommend innovative solutions that enhance city IT operations and contribute to Qiddiya’s long-term vision. Evaluate and implement tools such as ServiceNow, Clarity, or similar platforms to streamline demand and portfolio management.
• Team Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of IT business analysts, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and professional growth. Ensure the team is equipped with the skills and resources necessary to deliver exceptional results.

Qualifications and Requirements

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the following skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is highly preferred.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in business analysis, demand management, business relationship management (BRM), or IT consulting. Proven track record of collaborating with senior executives and cross-disciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes.
• Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities. Capability to work autonomously, think critically, and propose innovative solutions that address complex business challenges.
• Communication and Facilitation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to facilitate workshops, present findings, and engage stakeholders at all levels. Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and foster productive relationships.
• Technical Proficiency: Experience in developing Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and business cases. Familiarity with demand or portfolio management tools such as ServiceNow, Clarity, or similar platforms. Certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis), or ITIL are advantageous.
• Leadership and Management: Demonstrated leadership in managing teams, driving project execution, and delivering results in a fast-paced environment. Ability to mentor and develop team members to achieve their full potential.
