Position Overview

As a Field Clinical Liaison based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), you will serve as the primary clinical point of contact for dentists and orthodontists across the region. This role is pivotal in driving clinical education, fostering strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs), and ensuring the adoption of advanced digital workflows, particularly the Invisalign technique. Your responsibilities will encompass delivering expert clinical support, facilitating peer-to-peer learning, and contributing to the strategic growth of Align Technology’s educational initiatives. This field-based position requires extensive travel within your designated territory to engage with HCPs in their clinical settings, empowering them to achieve clinical excellence and confidence in their practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Engagement: Conduct independent field visits to private clinics, dental service organizations (DSOs), and universities, dedicating at least 70% of your time to direct customer interaction. These visits will focus on providing hands-on clinical education, treatment planning guidance, and support for the Invisalign system.
  • Clinical Education & Support: Deliver comprehensive clinical education to HCPs, including orthodontists and dentists, to enhance their proficiency in the Invisalign technique and digital workflows. This includes one-on-one coaching, group training sessions, and interactive workshops tailored to the needs of your customers.
  • Peer-to-Peer Relationship Building: Develop and nurture strong professional relationships with HCPs, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor. Facilitate peer-to-peer learning opportunities, such as roundtables and case discussions, to foster a collaborative environment where HCPs can share insights and best practices.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and clinical specialists, to align educational programs with business objectives. Contribute to the planning and execution of Align Technology’s educational initiatives, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the market.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor Level 4 and Level 5 clinical specialists, sharing expertise and fostering professional growth. Actively contribute to key projects, either independently or through team collaboration, to drive innovation and enhance the company’s clinical offerings.
  • Business Development Support: Partner with the sales team to identify opportunities for growth within your territory. Develop strategic visit plans and group sessions based on business reviews, while recommending innovative approaches to accelerate the adoption of digital workflows and Invisalign techniques among HCPs.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry or Orthodontics (or a related field) is required. A master’s degree is preferred. Candidates should possess at least 4-6 years of directly relevant experience in clinical education, training, or a related healthcare field.
  • Professional Competencies: Demonstrated proficiency in negotiation, presentation, and facilitation skills. Ability to train medical staff effectively and adapt to diverse learning styles. Strong didactic and communication skills are essential to convey complex clinical concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Language Proficiency: Native fluency in Arabic and excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken, are mandatory. This ensures seamless communication with HCPs and internal stakeholders across the region.
  • Residency & Work Authorization: Preference will be given to candidates who are residents of KSA with a transferable Iqama (work permit). Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the country for which they are applying, and employment eligibility will be verified as a condition of hire.

Work Environment & Travel

This role is field-based, requiring extensive travel within your designated territory in KSA. You will be expected to manage your schedule independently while aligning with the broader business objectives of Align Technology. The position offers a dynamic and rewarding work environment where you can make a tangible impact on the clinical success of HCPs and the growth of the company.
