Role Overview

As a Technician within the MAF Retail division at a leading supermarket chain in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of critical systems and equipment. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining the functionality of CFC/MFC systems, electrical networks, ventilation, refrigeration units, heating, plumbing, and alarm systems, all while adhering to stringent health and safety protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance of Electrical Systems: Conduct thorough inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical systems to prevent downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
• System Setup and Repairs: Assist in the installation and configuration of ventilation, refrigeration, and other critical systems, performing necessary repairs to maintain optimal performance.
• Heating and Plumbing Maintenance: Oversee the functionality of heating and plumbing systems, addressing any issues promptly to avoid disruptions in store operations.
• Alarm System Inspections: Regularly inspect alarm systems, identify potential faults, and schedule timely repairs to uphold safety standards and compliance.
• Manual Repairs and Maintenance: Undertake hands-on repairs and maintenance tasks as required, ensuring all equipment and machinery are in peak working condition.
• Pest Control Compliance: Execute pest control activities in strict accordance with established standards to maintain a hygienic and safe retail environment.
• Operational Procedure Adherence: Follow all operational procedures and instructions meticulously to ensure work is conducted in a controlled, consistent, and compliant manner.
• PLC-Based Machinery (Preferred): While not mandatory, prior operational experience with PLC-based machinery and control systems is highly advantageous and will be considered a strong asset.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, you should possess a Diploma or Certificate in the maintenance of automated machines, coupled with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in a similar technical capacity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, the ability to multitask effectively, and a consistent track record in preventive maintenance to minimize equipment failures and extend asset lifespan.
