Lead Cloud Engineer (Hybrid Cloud)

We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Engineer with 8+ years of experience and a strong background in financial services to define, own, and execute our hybrid cloud strategy. This is a lead technical role requiring deep, hands-on expertise across on-premise, hybrid, and cloud environments, with proven success delivering secure, compliant on-prem to cloud migrations in regulated environments.

• Lead the architecture and management of hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + cloud)
• Own and execute on-prem to cloud migrations with minimal business risk
• Design secure cloud landing zones, networking, and identity integrations
• Optimize cloud cost, performance, reliability, and scalability
• Ensure high availability, resilience, security, and performance across cloud platforms
• Lead infrastructure lifecycle management, including capacity planning, patching, and upgrades
• Act as the senior technical authority for cloud and infrastructure decisions
• Drive Infrastructure as Code (IaC) adoption and automation practices
• Support CI/CD pipelines and modern application delivery models

Technical Skills: VMware virtualization platforms, Enterprise networking and security, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), CI/CD tools and automation, Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python, Monitoring and logging platforms

Required Experience & Qualifications: Minimum 8+ years of IT Infrastructure and Cloud experience, Mandatory experience in the financial services industry, Proven ownership of on-prem to cloud migrations, Strong expertise in VMware and enterprise networking, Hands-on experience with GCP, Experience working in regulated, audit-driven environments
