Role Overview

The Information Technology Administrator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of resilient and reliable IT infrastructure to internal stakeholders across all assigned geographical locations. This position is responsible for maintaining and upgrading existing hardware, communication systems, and software components, as well as implementing new IT facilities to align with evolving business requirements. The role involves resolving user-reported issues by troubleshooting malfunctioning infrastructure components, thereby minimizing downtime and enhancing operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and upgrade existing IT infrastructure, including hardware, communication systems, and software components, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Implement additional IT facilities and solutions to meet the evolving needs of the business and support organizational growth.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues related to IT infrastructure, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address IT infrastructure gaps, proposing and implementing effective solutions.
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues to prevent downtime and enhance system reliability.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, standards, and best practices to maintain a secure and efficient IT environment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, fostering a culture of self-service and reducing dependency on IT support for routine issues.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement innovative solutions that drive operational excellence.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working within an Oracle environment, with exposure to client/server-based application implementations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field in Business Systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex IT infrastructure issues efficiently.
• Proficiency in hardware maintenance, software upgrades, and network troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and departments.
