QHSE Officer - Facilities Management

The QHSE Officer is responsible for maintaining high safety, quality, and compliance standards across active project environments in Facilities Management, O&M, maintenance, or large-scale site operations.

**Responsibilities:**

• Conduct regular QHSE inspections, site walks, audits, and compliance checks.
• Monitor implementation of HSE policies, procedures, permits, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Identify and address unsafe acts, conditions, non-compliance issues, and quality gaps, then follow up corrective and preventive actions.
• Support incident, accident, near-miss, and non-conformance investigations and prepare clear reports.
• Maintain QHSE documentation, inspection records, audit reports, training records, and compliance trackers.
• Support toolbox talks, safety briefings, awareness sessions, and site-level QHSE training.
• Coordinate with operations, maintenance, supervisors, subcontractors, and client representatives on QHSE matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi regulations, company standards, client requirements, and project-specific QHSE procedures.
• Monitor PPE compliance, work-at-height activities, electrical safety, housekeeping, waste management, emergency readiness, and permit-to-work controls.
• Support internal and external audits and assist in closing audit findings within agreed timelines.
• Promote a strong safety culture and professional QHSE discipline across the site team.

**Requirements:**

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of QHSE experience, preferably in Facilities Management, IFM, O&M, maintenance, building services, or large operational project environments.
• Good knowledge of site safety practices, risk assessment, incident reporting, audits, inspections, and corrective action follow-up.
• NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, or ISO 14001 certification is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse project teams.
• Good reporting skills and proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Ability to work on-site and travel or relocate to different project locations across Saudi Arabia when required.
