Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for a Civil Engineer with a minimum of three years of hands-on site experience, who is capable of overseeing construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. The Site Engineer will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of projects, acting as a liaison between consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines while ensuring seamless project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

The Site Engineer will be responsible for a wide range of critical tasks, including:

• Site Inspection and Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of all site works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and regulatory standards. Verify that all construction activities meet the required quality benchmarks and project requirements.
• Supervision and Project Management: Oversee site execution activities with precision, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and in accordance with the project timeline. Act as a Project Manager when required, taking charge of site operations and ensuring seamless coordination among all stakeholders.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between consultants, contractors, and other engineering disciplines to ensure alignment and resolve any discrepancies or challenges that may arise during project execution.
• Documentation and Reporting: Review and approve shop drawings, track material submittals, and ensure timely approvals. Prepare and submit comprehensive reports to the Project Management Department, providing detailed updates on progress, challenges, and resolutions.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all site activities adhere to safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies. Implement best practices to mitigate risks and promote a safe working environment for all personnel on-site.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications and possess the necessary technical and interpersonal skills:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of three years of practical site experience, with a proven track record in site inspections, work handover, and project management.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of engineering and office software, including AutoCAD for drafting and design, Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting, and Primavera for project planning and scheduling.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey instructions, report progress, and liaise with stakeholders. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility and Adaptability: Capable of working both on-site and in the office, adapting to changing project requirements and dynamic work environments.
