Role Overview

We are looking for a Medical Doctor (MD) with a minimum of three years of hands-on experience in healthcare insurance to lead our product strategy and development. This role is tailored for a professional who possesses a deep understanding of the healthcare insurance ecosystem and is eager to address industry challenges through innovative, technology-driven solutions. As a Product Manager, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver products that streamline healthcare operations, optimize workflows, and deliver unparalleled value to our clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Product Strategy & Roadmap Development: Craft and execute a robust product roadmap that aligns with business objectives, customer needs, and emerging market opportunities to ensure sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
• Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers, clients, and internal teams—including engineering, data science, and design—to gather critical insights, validate product concepts, and drive alignment on strategic initiatives.
• Product & Feature Development: Partner with engineering teams to prioritize, develop, and refine product features that enhance usability, efficiency, and overall user experience, ensuring seamless integration into existing healthcare workflows.
• Market & Compliance Research: Maintain a deep understanding of healthcare regulations, insurance policies, and industry trends to ensure our products remain compliant, competitive, and aligned with evolving market demands.
• Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Analyze key product metrics, conduct user research, and iterate on features to drive continuous enhancement in product performance, relevance, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

To excel in this role, you must possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A medical degree (MD or BDS) with at least three years of professional experience in healthcare insurance, revenue cycle management (RCM), claims management, or a closely related healthcare domain.
• Proven track record in product management, preferably within a startup or SaaS environment, demonstrating the ability to navigate fast-paced, innovative landscapes.
• Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare insurance workflows, including the claims lifecycle and the dynamics of payer-provider interactions, to inform product development decisions.
• Exceptional analytical acumen, coupled with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, to effectively bridge the gap between technical teams and business objectives.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, agile environment while driving results with a customer-centric approach.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences are highly desirable:

• Prior experience working with AI-enabled or data science-driven healthcare products, with a focus on transforming industry challenges through technology.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and proficiency in product management tools to streamline development processes and enhance team productivity.
