RETAIL DIRECTOR (KSA, KUWAIT & Bahrain)

The Retail Director is responsible for leading the retail operations in KSA, Kuwait, and Bahrain, driving the FENDI business growth in these markets, and spearheading a retail culture transformation. This role is instrumental in enhancing the Top Store approach within the network.

• Develop and implement strategic commercial action plans to drive business growth.
• Oversee boutique operations, staff management, merchandise, and customer service.
• Monitor sales performance, analyze variances, and take corrective actions as needed.
• Communicate vision, strategy, and clear direction to retail staff.
• Structure retail activities, allocate responsibilities, and ensure adequate staffing through recruitment, training, and development.
• Collaborate with Training and Visual Merchandising departments to ensure proper staff training and display.
• Propose layout adjustments to enhance commercial efficiency.
• Manage existing store network projects, including expansion, renovation, relocation, and closure.
• Participate in lease negotiations with landlords.
• Work closely with the communication/events department to execute local events.
• Develop and implement local marketing, customer relations/VIP strategies to promote the Brand’s image.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 7-10 years of experience in Fashion/Luxury Sales.
• 5-7 years of experience in managing a multi-location retail luxury business.
• In-depth knowledge of GCC countries and previous retail experience.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree.
• Strong selling, communication, and leadership skills.
• Excellent relationship-building skills, self-reliance, and patience.
• Strong customer orientation, administration, and financial skills.
• A goal-oriented approach and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in computer skills and retail management systems.
• A strong knowledge and/or interest in the fashion/luxury industry.
• Fluent English; French and/or Italian are a plus.
