Role Overview

The Senior Accountant at Osan® will play a pivotal role in the company’s financial operations, serving as a key contributor to its continued success. This full-time, on-site position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and requires a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in accounting and financial management. The ideal candidate will oversee a wide range of accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial processes. This role is instrumental in maintaining the integrity of Osan®’s financial records while providing strategic insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• General Ledger Management: Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and local regulations. Develop management reports to provide actionable insights for leadership.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process, perform variance analysis, and contribute to financial planning initiatives to support Osan®’s strategic objectives.
• Cash Flow and Treasury Management: Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure optimal liquidity to support business operations.
• Compliance and Audits: Ensure adherence to Saudi Arabian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements. Assist with internal and external audits, including tax filings and regulatory submissions.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance internal controls, streamline accounting procedures, and implement best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with finance, operations, and other departments to provide financial insights, support decision-making, and align financial strategies with business goals.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates must possess a robust foundation in financial accounting and reporting, with a proven ability to manage complex financial processes. The ideal candidate will have:

• Extensive experience in general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic financial planning.
• Strong expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
• In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian accounting standards (e.g., SOCPA) and tax regulations, with prior experience supporting audits and tax filings.
• Advanced technical skills in accounting software (e.g., Odoo) and ERP systems, along with exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational agility, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and present financial information clearly to stakeholders.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or SOCPA are highly advantageous.
• Prior experience in a senior or supervisory accounting role within retail, fashion, or consumer brands is preferred.
• Demonstrated integrity, discretion in handling confidential information, and a commitment to continuous professional development.
