Accountant

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accountant to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, financial reporting, and industry-specific experience, particularly in the Food & Beverage (F&B) or Retail sectors. This role requires a meticulous approach to financial management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting to support our organization’s growth and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Operations: Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations with precision to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and comprehensive financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, to provide insights for strategic decision-making.
• Compliance & Audit Support: Ensure adherence to accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies while collaborating with auditors during financial reviews.
• Process Optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes, enhance efficiency, and implement best practices to support business objectives.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and management, to provide financial clarity and support business initiatives.
• Technical Proficiency: Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills and accounting software to maintain financial records, perform data analysis, and generate actionable reports.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Industry Experience: Proven experience in accounting roles within the F&B or Retail industry, with a deep understanding of sector-specific financial challenges.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger management, and bank reconciliations.
• Analytical Abilities: Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and familiarity with accounting systems (ERP software is a plus).
• Soft Skills: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and communicate financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
