Area Supervisor - Lead, Inspire, and Drive Retail Success

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Supervisor to support our Area Manager and ensure the smooth, consistent, and successful operation of our stores across multiple locations. This role is ideal for a retail professional who understands the intricacies of retail, enjoys leading teams, and takes pride in delivering exceptional sales performance and customer experiences.

As an Area Supervisor, you will bridge the gap between strategic planning and daily store execution. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the implementation of sales strategies at store level
• Monitoring daily sales performance and identifying trends, risks, and opportunities
• Optimizing upselling, cross-selling, and stock reduction opportunities
• Ensuring adherence to company promotions, discounts, and merchandising guidelines
• Supervising stock levels and conducting spot checks
• Monitoring product expiry dates and initiating clearance when necessary
• Ensuring stores meet cleanliness, efficiency, and visual merchandising standards
• Supporting Store Managers and acting as the first point of contact for store issues
• Ensuring high service standards from customer-facing teams
• Assisting with staff training and onboarding
• Providing feedback, coaching, and motivation to store teams
• Ensuring compliance with SOPs, health & safety, and regulatory standards
• Collecting and reporting operational data to the Area Manager
• Verifying correct pricing, discount compliance, and audit documentation
• Following up on new initiatives and operational processes
• Acting as the communication bridge between Area Manager and store teams
• Supporting new store openings, promotions, expos, and activations
• Coordinating logistics for launches, campaigns, and stock movements
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to align online and offline initiatives

To excel in this role, you will possess:

• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, retail management, or a related field
• 5-7 years of experience as a Store Manager or in a similar role, preferably in retail or a related industry
• A strong understanding of retail operations, sales principles, and visual merchandising
• Confident leadership skills with the ability to coach and support teams
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, POS systems, and inventory software
• Fluency in English (Arabic is an asset)
• The willingness and ability to travel regularly between store locations
