Role Overview

IMG is seeking an experienced and proactive Production Manager to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Saudi Pro League (SPL) Production Team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of production logistics for multiple matches, while maintaining strict adherence to budgetary constraints, compliance standards, and health and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate will serve as the primary point of contact for ad hoc productions, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to financial parameters.

Key Responsibilities

The Production Manager will be responsible for the following core functions:

• Production Logistics and Compliance: Oversee the day-to-day production logistics for a range of matches, ensuring efficient execution, adherence to budgetary constraints, and full compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Project Management: Act as the central point of contact for ad hoc production projects, guaranteeing timely delivery and strict adherence to allocated budgets.
• Financial Oversight: Manage production budgets, prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts, and compile quarterly finance reports for the Production Executive and Production Accountant.
• Strategic Planning and Staffing: Collaborate with the Production Executive and Senior Producers to develop and implement production schedules, ensuring all departments are adequately staffed and operational requirements are met.
• Regulatory and Administrative Coordination: Liaise with internal departments such as Legal, HR, Finance, and Immigration to ensure all staff, suppliers, and freelancers possess the necessary visas and work permits.
• Supplier and Facility Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external facility providers and suppliers, ensuring consistent communication, proactive issue resolution, and mitigation of potential delays.
• Reporting and Analysis: Disseminate production reports, interpret key data, identify gaps for discussion, and highlight emerging trends to inform strategic decision-making.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in meetings with the Executive Producer, Production Executive, Producers, and Directors to monitor schedule progress, address challenges, and escalate critical issues as necessary.
• Team Leadership and Development: Conduct production meetings to foster clear communication, acknowledge team achievements, and address operational challenges. Provide mentorship to production staff, delegate targeted tasks, and empower team members to assume additional responsibilities.
• Risk Management: Advise the Production Executive and Head of Production on potential risks or issues that may impact schedules or budgets, presenting well-researched solutions for consideration.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance production systems, workflows, and methodologies, implementing new processes that drive efficiency and improved outcomes.
• Operational Support: Assist producers with day-to-day or shoot-specific operational demands, ensuring the creation and adherence to comprehensive risk assessments.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Production Executive, Executive Producer, and Technical Manager to ensure all health and safety protocols are met and production standards are upheld.
