Position Overview

Rassas, a leading limited liability company headquartered in Riyadh and fully owned by Tasnee, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technician IV, Electrical to join our dynamic team. This role is based in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing a wide range of electrical maintenance and installation tasks, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical systems. Key Responsibilities

As a Technician IV, Electrical, your core duties will encompass the following:

  • Electrical Installation and Maintenance: Perform the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical wiring, fixtures, equipment, and systems across diverse settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial facilities. Ensure all installations meet stringent quality and safety standards.
  • Diagnostics and Troubleshooting: Identify, diagnose, and resolve electrical malfunctions by utilizing advanced testing devices, tools, and analytical techniques. Replace or repair faulty components to restore optimal functionality and minimize downtime.
  • System Inspections and Compliance: Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to proactively identify potential issues, hazards, or non-compliance with safety and operational regulations. Ensure adherence to local, national, and international electrical codes, including NEC, IEC, and other relevant standards.
  • Technical Documentation and Planning: Interpret and utilize blueprints, electrical diagrams, technical manuals, and schematics to plan, execute, and document work accurately. Maintain comprehensive records of all maintenance activities, repairs, upgrades, and preventive measures.
  • System Modernization and Upgrades: Lead initiatives to modernize existing electrical systems, incorporating energy-efficient technologies and upgrades to enhance performance, reliability, and sustainability.
  • Control Systems and Automation: Set up, configure, and maintain control panels, lighting systems, automated equipment, and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems to support advanced industrial processes and operational efficiency.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce the risk of unexpected failures, extend equipment lifespan, and ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Safety and Risk Mitigation: Uphold the highest standards of electrical safety, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), adherence to lockout/tagout procedures, and compliance with hazardous energy control protocols. Identify and mitigate potential safety risks in all work environments.

Qualifications and Experience

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Education: A diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in electrical maintenance, installation, or a closely related technical field, with a proven track record in troubleshooting and system optimization.
  • Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, circuits, components, and control systems. Familiarity with PLC programming and automation technologies is highly desirable.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional ability to diagnose complex electrical issues, evaluate system performance, and implement effective solutions under pressure.
  • Blueprint and Schematic Interpretation: Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, electrical diagrams, and schematics to ensure precise execution of tasks.
  • Safety and Compliance: Thorough understanding of electrical safety standards, including NFPA 70E, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements. Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment at all times.
  • Physical and Technical Competencies:
    • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating tools and equipment with precision.
    • Basic mathematical proficiency to calculate voltages, loads, and other electrical parameters.
    • Physical fitness and stamina to perform tasks in challenging environments, including confined spaces, heights, or industrial settings.
    • Proficiency in using specialized tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, wire strippers, conduit benders, and other diagnostic equipment.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with engineers, contractors, and cross-functional teams. Strong time management and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Adaptability and Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with emerging electrical technologies, industry trends, and evolving safety regulations through ongoing professional development.
