QC INSPECTOR

Position Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QC Inspector to join our dynamic team at NAPCO. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in maintaining the highest standards of quality across our manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will encompass monitoring, collecting, and interpreting raw data from diverse sources, evaluating and analyzing results, and generating comprehensive reports to support informed decision-making. This position requires a proactive approach to organizing and planning work activities to ensure efficient task completion while meeting both short-term and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

The QC Inspector will be responsible for the following core duties:

• Data Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor, collect, and interpret raw data from various sources to evaluate performance metrics and identify trends. Analyze results to generate actionable insights that drive process improvements and support strategic decision-making.
• Work Planning and Execution: Organize and plan work activities with precision to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and in alignment with project timelines. Balance short-term objectives with long-term goals to maintain operational excellence.
• Production Process Oversight: Operate all steps and activities for required production machinery in strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and any applicable instructions. Ensure that machinery is utilized correctly to maintain consistency and quality in output.
• Quality Assurance and Process Improvement: Systematically monitor and evaluate the entire manufacturing process at NAPCO to verify that quality standards are consistently met. Identify opportunities for engineering and manufacturing process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and elevate product quality.
• Inspection and Testing: Conduct thorough inspections and tests on tools, spare parts, raw materials, work-in-progress items, and finished products. Utilize a range of simple to complex lab equipment to assess performance and compliance with engineering and procedural standards. Detect and address deviations to prevent defects and ensure adherence to specifications.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with inspection tools and lab equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measurement devices. Familiarity with quality control methodologies and standards.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and derive meaningful conclusions. Proficiency in generating detailed reports and presenting findings clearly and concisely.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inspections and testing. Ability to spot discrepancies and deviations that may impact product quality.
• Process Orientation: A systematic approach to monitoring and evaluating manufacturing processes. Commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives and optimizing operational efficiency.

Work Environment

The QC Inspector will operate in a fast-paced manufacturing environment at NAPCO, where precision and efficiency are paramount. This role may require standing for extended periods, lifting or moving materials, and working with hazardous substances. Safety protocols and quality standards must be strictly followed to ensure a secure and compliant workplace.
