Position Overview

Greenland Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at NADEC Company in Saudi Arabia. This critical role is designed for professionals with a strong background in Red Meat/Beef Production, ensuring the seamless operation of engineering projects, facility upgrades, and production equipment within a high-standard food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess extensive hands-on experience in meat processing, slaughterhouse operations, or related FMCG sectors, with a proven track record in managing complex engineering systems.

Key Responsibilities

The Maintenance Engineer will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of NADEC’s facilities. Your core responsibilities will include:

• Project and Equipment Management: Oversee engineering projects, utilities, equipment installation, and facility upgrades to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
• Technical Support: Provide expert support for critical systems, including refrigeration, wastewater treatment, boilers, compressed air, and production machinery, to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Compliance and Safety: Uphold rigorous engineering standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements to safeguard both personnel and assets within the facility.
• Contractor and Budget Coordination: Collaborate with contractors, manage budgets, and oversee technical documentation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial constraints.
• Commissioning and Scheduling: Lead the commissioning of new systems and develop strategic scheduling plans to align maintenance activities with production demands in a meat processing or FMCG environment.

Qualifications and Skills

To qualify for this role, candidates must meet the following educational and professional criteria:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
• Industry Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in maintenance engineering, with a strong preference for candidates with hands-on experience in Red Meat/Beef Production, food processing, or FMCG manufacturing.
• Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in packaging systems, food processing equipment, and processed meat production is highly desirable.
• Business Sector Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing (FMCG), agro-based firms, overseas companies, or chemical industries will be considered a significant advantage.
