Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Broker Support, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating the placement of Facultative and Treaty Reinsurance business on behalf of our valued clients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Client and Reinsurer Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and reinsurers, addressing inquiries and ensuring the seamless processing of premium debit notes and claim settlement requests.
• Treaty Renewal Management: Collaborate with brokers and account executives to prepare and finalize treaty renewal submissions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Contractual Documentation: Assist in the preparation and finalization of contractual wordings, endorsements, and addendums in coordination with clients, reinsurers, and senior team members.
• Data Management: Accurately record renewal information, key placement dates, and projected revenues in the company’s tracking systems to maintain transparency and compliance.
• Documentation and Compliance: Maintain meticulously organized placement files, ensuring all relevant documents and correspondence are properly filed for audit and regulatory compliance purposes.
• System and Process Support: Upload risk information into company systems and generate Evidence of Cover documentation to streamline operations.
• Client and Reinsurer Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding of new clients and reinsurers in collaboration with the Head of Compliance, ensuring all requirements are met.
• Regulatory Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards throughout the reinsurance placement process.
• Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with clients, reinsurers, and internal stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Accounting team to review and support complex reinsurance transactions, contributing to financial accuracy and efficiency.
• Project and Administrative Support: Assist with additional projects and administrative duties as assigned to support the broader objectives of the team.

Qualifications and Skills

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

• A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is preferred, though exceptional candidates from other disciplines will also be considered.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with a strong emphasis on Excel and Word for data management and documentation.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both Arabic and English, enabling effective interaction with diverse stakeholders.
