Key Responsibilities

The Assistant/Associate Consultant in Cardiology will be responsible for delivering comprehensive cardiac care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Your duties will encompass a wide range of cardiology services, such as:

  • Conducting detailed patient assessments, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic testing.
  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in accordance with evidence-based medical guidelines.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Graduation from an accredited medical school with a recognized degree in Medicine (MD or equivalent).
  • Completion of postgraduate training in Cardiology, including board certification or eligibility in the specialty and/or subspecialty.
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of clinical experience as a Registrar or above in the field of Cardiology.
  • Demonstrated expertise in diagnosing and managing a wide spectrum of cardiac conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and valvular heart disease.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of the latest advancements in cardiology.
  • Proficiency in both English and Arabic is advantageous, though not mandatory.
